Flight disruptions due to strike actions at Brussels Airlines on 14 and 16 May 2018

Brussels Airlines deeply regrets that strike actions triggered by its social partners representing the airline’s pilot community are causing massive disruptions in flight operations on May 14th and May 16th.

Goodwill policy for rebooking/reissue/refund of flights regardless of whether they are cancelled or not

Any passenger with a flight operated by Brussels Airlines on OS/SN/LH/LX document with a SN/OS/LH/LX/WK/EW/4U flight number from/to/via Brussels on 14 or 16 May 2018, whose ticket was issued up to and including 10 May 2018, may rebook once free of charge or have their ticket fully refunded.

The following rules apply to rebookings:

• Rebooking on an alternative Lufthansa Group flight/connection (flight number and operated by: OS, SN, EW, LH, LX, WK) – in the original booking class or alternatively within the same class of carriage.
• New travel date between 17 May and 30 June 2018
• The change of origin/destination is not permitted. Exception: rebooking/reissue to an alternative nearby departure/destination airport within Germany, e.g. DUS instead of CGN, HAM instead of HAJ.
• In the case of reissues the endorsement entry should read: TWP 1803

In case of cancelled flights standard INVOL rules apply.

Waiver

A waiver is mandatory in case an OS, LH or LX ticket containing an SN operated flight segment on 14 or 16May 2018 is reissued or refunded.  Please contact your Lufthansa Group Agency Support. For SN tickets no waiver is needed for these cases.

Customers who have provided their contact details will be notified of changes to their flight by Brussels Airlines via text message and email. Brussels Airlines advises all customers with a booking within the strike period to check the status of their flight via www.brusselsairlines.com before coming to the airport.
