Current information on Lufthansa Group's flight offer to and from the Middle East

Riyadh (RUH) and Amman (AMM)

• Frankfurt (FRA)–Riyadh (RUH): three times a week*
• Vienna (VIE)–Amman (AMM): twice a week starting 2 October 2026 (three times a week starting 25 October 2026)
• Frankfurt (FRA)–Amman (AMM): six times a week starting 25 October 2026
• Stuttgart (STR)–Amman (AMM): once a week starting 7 November 2026

The Lufthansa Group is continuously monitoring and assessing the situation in the Middle East and is in close contact with the authorities. Changes are possible due to the dynamic situation and will be communicated accordingly.

Tel Aviv (TLV)

• Lufthansa offers two daily flights between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv, and between Munich and Tel Aviv

• Austrian Airlines currently operates 14 flights per week between Vienna and Tel Aviv.

• Eurowings currently offers four weekly flights from Hamburg (1) and Düsseldorf (3) to Tel Aviv.

• SWISS offers two daily flight.

• Brussels Airlines operates the route once a week, every Wednesday.

Dubai (DXB)

The airlines of the Lufthansa Group will gradually resume their flight services to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) starting at the end of October 2026.

Lufthansa

• Munich – Dubai: From 25 October 2026, five weekly flights operated with an Airbus A350-900

• Frankfurt – Dubai: From 26 October 2026, initially four weekly flights, increasing to five weekly flights from 9 November 2026, operated with an Airbus A340-300

SWISS

• Zurich – Dubai: From 27 October 2026, daily flights operated with an Airbus A340-300, including Premium Economy Class with 21 seats

Austrian Airlines

• Vienna – Dubai: From 12 December 2026, five weekly flights operated with an Airbus A320neo

Eurowings

• Berlin – Dubai: From 1 November 2026, daily flights operated with an Airbus A320neo

• Stuttgart – Dubai: From 1 November 2026, four weekly flights operated with an Airbus A320neo

• Cologne/Bonn – Dubai: From 3 November 2026, three weekly flights operated with an Airbus A320neo

At peak operation, the Lufthansa Group airlines will offer up to 36 weekly flights to and from Dubai. The gradual resumption of services will strengthen the Lufthansa Group’s presence in the Middle East while significantly expanding travel options for both business and leisure customers.

Further destinations in the Middle East

Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Edelweiss have already suspended all flights to and from the following destinations for operational reasons:

• Abu Dhabi through 24 October

• Amman through 24 October (Austrian Airlines through 1 October)

• Beirut through 30 November

• Dammam through 30 November

• Riyadh through 7 October

• Erbil through 31 October (Eurowings until 24 October)

• Muscat through 24 October

• Tehran through 31 October

Eurowings:

• Flights to and from Beirut resumed on 1 July 2026.

• Flights to and from Erbil resumed on 1 July 2026, are currently suspended again, and are scheduled to resume on 25 October 2026.

• Flights to and from Amman are scheduled to resume on 7 November 2026.

• Flights to and from Jeddah are scheduled to resume on 12 November 2026.

• Flights to and from Abu Dhabi remain suspended until and including 24 October 2026 (no specific date has yet been set for the resumption of services)

Changes may occur for individual airlines due to the dynamic situation and will be communicated accordingly.
