Disruptions on Lufthansa Express Rail connections from 10 January (2 a.m.) through 12 January 2024 (6 p.m.)

Long-distance services of Deutsche Bahn will be partially suspended from Wednesday, 10 January 2024 (2 a.m.) to Friday, 12 January 2024 (6 p.m.)  due to a strike by the railway union GDL. For this reason, many Lufthansa Express Rail trains to and from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) will be cancelled. Please refer to the Deutsche Bahn website to find out which trains are still operating.

If your customers' Lufthansa Express Rail train is affected by a cancellation, please contact the Lufthansa Group Agency Support. However, travelers affected by a cancellation can also use any other operating Deutsche Bahn train to and from Frankfurt Airport with their current ticket.

Alternatively, they can also choose another means of ground transport. Lufthansa will cover the costs for this, provided they are reasonable. Self-payers are requested to send their receipts as well as their boarding pass, stating their bank details (IBAN and BIC), using the Lufthansa online feedback form.
