Information on Lufthansa flights from/to Beijing starting 27 October 2020

Due to traffic right restrictions, Lufthansa cannot resume flight operations to Beijing (PEK) on 27 October 2020 as planned. Instead, Lufthansa is offering a special triangular flight Frankfurt (FRA)–Shenyang (SHE) // Beijing (PEK)–Frankfurt (FRA). Passengers can only be transported from Frankfurt to Shenyang or from Beijing to Frankfurt. Passengers with Beijing as their final destination must disembark in Shenyang ("First entry point city") and depending on the entry regulations undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Lufthansa cannot offer any onward journey from Shenyang to Beijing. This must be organised and paid for by the passenger.

Passengers already booked on the flight from Frankfurt to Beijing have been rebooked onto Frankfurt–Shenyang. Tickets have to be reissued within 14 days, a corresponding Ticketing Time Limited (TTL) has been entered in all affected PNRs.
