TWP2603/TWP2604/TWP2606: Lufthansa Group airlines adjust the flight offer to and from the Middle East
Due to the current situation in the Middle East and the associated massive restrictions on air traffic, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group will
- Suspend flights to and from Dubai (DXB) through 28 March 2026. Eurowings will suspend flights to and from Dubai (DWC) through 27 June 2026.*
- Suspend flights to and from Abu Dhabi (AUH) through 27 June 2026*
- suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv (TLV) through 9 April 2026
- Suspend flights to and from Erbil (EBL) through 28 March 2026
- suspend flights to and from Beirut (BEY) through 28 March 2026
- suspend flights to and from Tehran (THR) through 30 April 2026
* The reason is that the airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are significantly reducing the number of flight movements due to capacity constraints. As a result, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group have to cancel all flights during this period.
Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa will also suspend their flights to and from Amman (AMM) through 28 March 2026 for operational reasons. Eurowings will review the extent to which it will operate flights through 28 March 2026.
For operational reasons, Lufthansa will also suspend flights to and from Riyadh (RUH) and Dammam (DMM) through 5 April 2026.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our passengers. As soon as the situation on the ground and the associated airspace closures allow, we will decide on additional flights from the region in order to offer our guests a return journey as soon as possible.
The Lufthansa Group is continuously monitoring and assessing the security situation in the Middle East and is in close contact with the authorities.
The safety of passengers and crews is always the top priority for the Lufthansa Group.
Guests who are affected by an irregularity will be informed accordingly (provided the contact details were stored in the booking).
