Lufthansa Group airlines have suspended flights to/from Tehran until 30 April 2020

Due to the continuing unclear security situation for the airspace around Tehran airport and for Iranian airspace as well as the current spread of the coronavirus, Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa will continue to suspend flights to/from Tehran (IKA) until 30 April 2020.

Austrian Airlines Security and Lufthansa Group Security continue to evaluate the situation on site together with national and international authorities. As soon as detailed information is available, the Lufthansa Group airlines will decide whether and when flights to/from Iran can be resumed.

Part 1 – Lufthansa Group rules for rebooking/reissue/refund for cancelled flights

Customers affected by a flight cancellation can have their ticket refunded free of charge. You are welcome to make refunds for cancelled flights on Austrian Airlines/Lufthansa/SWISS tickets yourself in accordance with the Flight irregularities policy for business partners (OS/LH/LX).

Brussels Airlines INVOL rules apply to Brussels Airlines tickets.

Please note: The Flight irregularities policy and the INVOL rules only apply to flights which have already been cancelled.
