National manifestation to impact flight operations from/to Brussels Airport on 16 December 2022

Due to the National Manifestation in Belgium on Friday, 16 December 2022, the operations at Brussels Airport (BRU) will be heavily impacted. As a consequence, Brussels Airport has asked all airlines operating flights from/to Brussels Airport to reduce the number of flights on 16 December 2022. As a consequence, Brussels Airlines has to cancel flights for that day. The reservation systems will be updated on Wednesday, 7 December 2022 (afternoon).

Lufthansa Group rules for rebooking/reissue/refund for cancelled flights

Customers affected by a flight cancellation can rebook once free of charge or have their ticket refunded. You are welcome to make rebookings/reissues/refunds for cancelled flights on Austrian Airlines/Brussels Airlines/Lufthansa/SWISS tickets yourself in accordance with the Schedule Change/Irregularity Policy for Travel Agents (OS/SN/LH/LX).

Please note: The Schedule Change/Irregularity Policy only applies to flights which have already been cancelled.
