Restrictions on flight operations of SWISS route network

SWISS has decided to conduct an engine inspection of its C Series/A220 fleet in response to an incident involving a C Series/A220 engine. For this reason, all SWISS C Series / A220 aircraft will undergo a comprehensive inspection as of Tuesday noon (15 October 2019). This will lead to a noticeable reduction in SWISS flight operations, as numerous flights will have to be cancelled.

Part 1 – Lufthansa Group rules for rebooking/reissue/refund for cancelled flights

Customers affected by a flight cancellation can rebook once free of charge or have their ticket refunded. You are welcome to make rebookings/reissues/refunds for cancelled flights on Austrian Airlines/Lufthansa/SWISS tickets yourself in accordance with the Flight irregularities policy for business partners (OS/LH/LX).

Brussels Airlines INVOL rules apply to Brussels Airlines tickets.

Please note: The Flight irregularities policy and the INVOL rules only apply to flights which have already been cancelled.

SWISS will rebook affected passengers to the best possible alternative and actively inform passengers if contact details were provided at the time of booking.

We very much regret the circumstances that this creates for SWISS passengers.
