skyhub PAD is ceasing operations – Lufthansa codeshare flights affected

skyhub PAD will discontinue the flights between Munich and Paderborn/Lippstadt, Lübeck, and Pécs operated by the Danish airline DAT (IATA code: DX) for economic reasons effective 10 June 2026. Lufthansa had actively supported the company on these routes until recently through a codeshare agreement.

The flight cancellations and automated rebookings will soon be implemented in the booking systems. Depending on the available alternatives, affected passengers will be rebooked – wherever possible – to alternative departure or arrival airports.

  • Passengers booked on the Munich – Paderborn/Lippstadt (PAD) route will be rebooked to/from Hanover (HAJ).
  • Passengers booked on the Munich – Lübeck (LBC) route will be rebooked to/from Hamburg (HAM).
  • Passengers booked on the Munich – Pécs (PEV) route will be set to “UN”

Note: The Frankfurt–Linz (LNZ) route, which can also be booked as a Lufthansa codeshare, is not affected by the cancellations.

Lufthansa Group rules for rebooking/reissue/refund for cancelled flights

Customers affected by a flight cancellation can rebook once free of charge or have their ticket refunded. You are welcome to make rebookings/reissues/refunds for cancelled flights on Austrian Airlines/Brussels Airlines/Lufthansa/SWISS tickets yourself in accordance with the SKCHG/INVOL Policy.

If your customers agree with the alternative flight option:

  • Please reissue already ticketed bookings on an involuntary basis.

If your customers do not agree with the alternative flight option:

  • Please contact your Lufthansa Group Agency Support team.
  • In certain cases, your customers may claim reimbursement after the fact for the costs of alternative ground transportation (e.g. rail or bus) to the original departure or arrival point via Customer Relations. For further information, please contact your Lufthansa Group Agency Support team.
