Strike by ver.di union at Berlin Airport (BER) on 25 January 2023

Due to the announced warning strike at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, no passenger flights will be possible to/from Berlin (BER) on Wednesday, 25 January 2023. As a consequence, the Lufthansa Group airlines have to cancel all flights to/from Berlin for that day. The reservation systems have already been updated accordingly.

Important notes regarding short-term flight cancellations

As already communicated, in case of short-term flight cancellations within 48 hours (in select cases: up to 5 days) before departure, no (immediate) UN will be set in the PNR in all cases. In this case, you can do the rebooking/reissue without having to request a waiver.
