Temporary flight schedule adjustments to/from Timișoara (2 November–22 November 2026)

Due to the temporary closure of Timișoara Airport for runway repair works, Lufthansa will suspend flights between Munich and Timișoara (TSR) between 2 and 22 November 2026.

Affected passengers booked on these flights will be automatically rebooked on 23 July 2026 – wherever possible – onto alternative Lufthansa flights between Munich and Oradea (OMR).

If your customers agree with the alternative flight option:

• Please reissue already ticketed bookings on an involuntary basis.

 If your customers do not agree with the alternative flight option:

• Please contact your Lufthansa Group Agency Support team. They will be happy to check whether a rebooking option is available to connecting flights operated by other airlines (OAL) to the original origin or destination is available.

• In certain cases, your customers may claim reimbursement after the fact for the costs of alternative ground transportation (e.g. rail or bus) to the original departure or arrival point via Customer Relations. For further information, please contact your Lufthansa Group Agency Support team.

Lufthansa Group rules for rebooking/reissue/refund for cancelled flights

Customers affected by a flight cancellation can rebook once free of charge or have their ticket refunded. Rebookings, reissues and refunds for cancelled flights on Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS tickets may be processed in accordance with the SKCHG/INVOL Policy.

Please note: The Schedule Change/Irregularity Policy only applies to flights which have already been cancelled or which have been automatically rebooked by the airline.
