The pilots' union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) has called on its members at Eurowings to strike from 17 October through 19 October 2022

The pilots' union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) has called on its members at Eurowings Germany to strike for three days. The strike period is from 00:00 on Monday, 17 October 2022 through 23:59 on Wednesday, 19 October 2022.

Eurowings consists of two flight operations. Only flights operated by Eurowings Germany are affected by the strike call, not those operated by Eurowings Europe. Eurowings Discover (4Y), which operates from Frankfurt and Munich, is also not involved in the strike call.

Eurowings deeply regrets the inconvenience caused to passengers and is doing everything possible to minimise the impact of the strike action. The airline expects to be able to operate more than half of its normal flight program. In addition to Eurowings Europe, the airline can also rely on partners of the Lufthansa Group and other airline partners.

Passengers are asked to keep themselves informed about the status of their flight.

Passengers whose flight will not take place due to the strike will be informed about alternative transportation (provided the contact details are stored in the booking).
